ZIP2

Zip vectors (secondary)

This instruction reads adjacent vector elements from the upper half of two source SIMD&FP registers as pairs, interleaves the pairs and places them into a vector, and writes the vector to the destination SIMD&FP register. The first pair from the first source register is placed into the two lowest vector elements, with subsequent pairs taken alternately from each source register.

This instruction can be used with ZIP1 to interleave two vectors.

Depending on the settings in the CPACR_EL1, CPTR_EL2, and CPTR_EL3 registers, and the current Security state and Exception level, an attempt to execute the instruction might be trapped.

Encoding: Advanced SIMD

Operation

CheckFPAdvSIMDEnabled64();

constant integer base = part * pairs;

V[d, datasize] = result;

Explanations

<Vd>: Is the name of the SIMD&FP destination register, encoded in the "Rd" field.
<T>: <Vn>: Is the name of the first SIMD&FP source register, encoded in the "Rn" field.
<Vm>: Is the name of the second SIMD&FP source register, encoded in the "Rm" field.
